Full Job Description

Reporting directly to the Deputy Head of DPO / Deputy Data Protection Officer in the DPO Shared Services Team, the Assistant Data Protection Officer (Admin) is responsible for providing an admin function to all the admin related duties of the department, which covers a data protection service to both Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHNT) and North-West London Integrated Care Board (NWL ICB).
The post requires a highly motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communications skills, who is capable of working both alone and as part of a growing dedicated team.
Whilst the role is primarily focused on delivering an admin function to the department, it equally allows opportunity for the post-holder to be directly involved in the operational activities of the sub-teams of the department, hence delivering data protection advice as and when needed, where feasible., The Assistant Data Protection Officer (Admin) will support the DPO Shared Services Team in promoting adherence to Data Protection and Security best practice within the organisations.
The post holder will help the team in delivering all admin duties related to the department.
In doing so, they shall provide admin duties, as well as supporting the different sub-teams in the delivery of the respective areas where feasible in terms of timing:
