Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Finance Analyst to join our team within Vistry Services, at our Devonshire Square office in London. As our Assistant Finance Analyst, you will support the FP&A function in providing insightful financial and commercial analysis to ensure that the Group can progress towards achieving its long-term objectives. You will also assist in preparation of internal and external Group presentations, and the annual budget and long-term corporate plan. We are pleased to say, this role can accommodate agile working arrangements.,

  • Support with the preparation of presentations and supporting material at reporting periods and on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Ownership of regular weekly and monthly management information, including reporting of weekly sales and orderbook position to senior management.
  • Understand and report the changes in Group key performance indicators, both financial and non-financial, to senior management.
  • Ad-hoc generation and analysis of information to support key stakeholders.

    Strong academic record (graduated with a 2:1 or above)
  • Strong GCSE/A-levels or equivalent
  • Working towards recognized accountancy qualification or desire to begin studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Able to process information accurately to strict deadlines
  • Ability to follow up queries proactively and resolve them satisfactorily
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook and particularly Excel is vital
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • Strong mathematical and IT skills
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
  • Good understanding of business
  • Able to communicate to individuals at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Collaborative nature and ability to build relationships

  • Finance related degree or part-qualified accountant
  • Experience of professional finance environment e.g. placement or work experience
  • Knowledge of the housebuilding industry
  • Experience using COINS or Anaplan
  • Ability to explain technical financial information clearly to non-finance people
