Full Job Description

Amentum are currently looking for an Assistant Project Controls Engineer who will liaise with the Central Project Controls teams, particularly the change management and contract management teams of the consortium including Edvance and Cnepe. Key responsibilities will be:

  • Local coordination of the Change Management process encompassing contractual events and design changes
  • Assisting engineering teams in drafting Engaging Change Requests (CRs) and Activity at Completion (A@Cs) for SZC project
  • Aiding engineering teams in responding to and creating contractual events in collaboration with the Commercial Manager and contracts team
  • Coordinating with the SZC Risk and Opportunity coordinator to ensure alignment with the risk register, collaborating with the SZC Cost Control team to ensure accurate updates of cost impacts/budget in the Unifier tool, Schedule team to ensure accurate updates of schedule impacts in the Unifier tool
  • Coordinating with the SZC List of Deliverables Manager to ensure LOD impacts are accurately updated and implemented in the LOD tool, Paladin
  • Preparation and coordination of SZC bi-weekly CRs review meetings (openings and approvals)
  • Supporting the SZC project team in producing monthly reports through the provision of insightful information and analysis
  • Update of Change assumption note when it's needed.
  • Project Management: Skills in planning, executing, and monitoring change initiatives are necessary to ensure they are completed on time
  • Consortium entities engagement: Building relationships with various stakeholders is crucial for ensuring a successful and smooth change process
  • Project and change management Skills, proficiency in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and high analytical skills
