Full Job Description

We're seeking an exceptional Assistant Project Manager to join the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Project, a critical infrastructure development in the UK's energy landscape. You'll play a pivotal role in managing complex engineering contracts worth approximately £4Bn, ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of detailed design engineering activities.,

  • Manage Responsible Designer and Nuclear Services Contracts
  • Ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget engineering delivery
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
  • Proactively monitor and manage project progress
  • Track milestones, deadlines, and budget
  • Anticipate and resolve contract issues
  • Coordinate involvement of multiple project stakeholders
  • Provide regular progress and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate highest standards of nuclear professionalism and safety

    Proven experience in Project Management or Project Engineering
  • Experience with large, complex engineering or construction projects
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts preferred
  • Degree in relevant science or engineering
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and coordination abilities
  • Budget and commercial awareness
  • Problem-solving approach
  • Understanding of Health & Safety legislation
  • Familiarity with CDM and Nuclear Site License requirements
  • Knowledge of power station design (desirable)

    £255 PAYE to 355 UMBRELLA per day
  • Long term, full-time position
  • Based at Aztec West, Bristol
