Full Job Description

We are looking for a Planner to join our Building team based in Tewkesbury, to assist with developing, maintaining and updating the project programme to produce an accurate programme that manages time risk and that the project team and customer can trust., This is a key role that will require working closely with the site team and our suppliers to monitor progress and outputs, whilst providing the short term planning interface between the operational and planning teams, identifying areas for programme improvement. What you'll do:

  • Assist with maintain and updating the project programme, help prepare programme submission documents and internal reporting
  • Work with project team and suppliers to produce, challenge and maintain collaborative short term programmes that align with the main programme
  • Ensure that the lookahead / supplier programmes are accurate
  • Monitor supplier KPI's
  • Contribute to collaborative planning and lead short-term programme sessions

    Construction experience and technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices.
  • Experience of developing short term programmes for a section of works.
  • Understanding of the time impact of typical construction risks and opportunities.
  • Understanding of the construction market, methods of construction, plant, equipment and labour requirements, This role requires Cabinet Office security clearance. You should be aware that this has specific UK residency requirements of 5 years for SC or 10 years for DV; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and therefore would not be eligible to undertake the role. Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
