Full Job Description

The role will be to support the team in undertaking face to face Neurodevelopmental assessments for children and adults including assessments for ADHD, Autism and Learning Difficulties as part of a multidisciplinary team. These role may include some or all of the following:

  • Supporting parental interviews to explore the young persons/ clients developmental history relating to Autism, ADHD and Learning. This may include the ADI-R, ACE, ACE+ or Young DIVA assessments.
  • Observing 1:1 play based/ activity session with the young person (and/or ADOS if required)
  • Administering the QB Test
  • Cognitive Assessments
  • School observations
  • Liaison with schools and other professionals as well as parents and young people
  • Scoring and interpreting psychometrics
  • Multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Attending Neurodevelopmental Screening Assessments
  • Service Evaluation
  • Data Audits
  • Developing key service communications for parents and/ or young people/ clients
  • Contributing to service databases
  • Report writing: Contributions to Neurodevelopmental screening reports and contributions to full Neurodevelopmental Assessments, Cognitive Assessment reports etc

The company provides high-quality services to clients across the UK and Ireland, including neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children as well as expert witness assessments for the courts and parole boards, assessments in criminal/prison law, family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases. We have a proven track record of providing high quality assessments and delivering on NHS contracts.

    We hold an NHS contracts to deliver combined neurodevelopmental (Autism and ADHD) assessments on behalf of the NHS. We also undertake privately funded and insurance funded neurodevelopmental assessments across for the whole age span.
  • We are expanding our clinical team to support with Multidisciplinary Autism and/or ADHD neurodevelopmental assessments from our new clinic in Norwich. Applicants should have experience of working within Child and Adolescent Learning Disability and/ or Mental health Services and ideally experience of being part of a teams that undertake MDT Autism and ADHD assessments in line with N.I.C.E guidance for children as part of a 0-19 and/ or adult service. The current team comprises of Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Nurse practitioners, and Specialist CAMHS practitioners. Full supervision and relevant ongoing training is provided as part of this role. Salary is dependent upon skills and experience.
