Full Job Description

With our continuous growth in this area, we are looking to expand the Water senior management team and appoint an Associate / Associate Director to join our Water Engineering team in London. Within this role, you will work closely with the Director to ensure the highest standards of design and client service is achieved within the discipline, with the key objectives being improving productivity, efficiency, standardisation and consistency in our deliverables. You will be responsible for the delivery of Framework outputs, specific projects and co-ordination of those project resources, the production of fee proposals relating to the project and subsequent commercial delivery. You will assist with achieving the discipline business plan targets through sustainable development of new and existing business relationships, supporting Directors, and managing their teams.

Are you an Associate Civil Engineer with extensive experience within Water? Are you looking to lead and shape a Water team, as part of a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy?,

  • A relevant degree with significant and appropriate skills and design experience in the UK Regulated Water Sector
  • A professional qualification (Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council).
  • The ability to generate a team environment, ensuring that the support and backing is present to enable team members to collaborate and operate with confidence in the delivery of projects
  • Experience of successfully managing many complex clients/customers and large teams of staff
  • Developed clarity and confidence in communication, writing, on screen and in person
  • It would be nice for you to have:
  • Be a member of a relevant professional body, e.g., ICE, CIWEM, IHT etc
  • An excellent self-motivated, friendly, efficient, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Developed leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • The ability to multitask and working to tight deadlines
  • The ability to provide QA governance ensuring a consistent standard is delivered
  • The ability to provide advice on work related liability / potential risk issues.
  • Commitment to regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Good Microsoft and other software skills essential
