As the Head of Estates, you will be involved in the delivery of this scheme and ensuring that the hospital has an Estates team equipped to manage the transition to the new hospital whilst also providing good quality safe services to the substantial existing healthcare estate., Accountable to the Hospital Director of Estates & Facilities, the postholder will provide technical operational leadership and strategic direction for all engineering, infrastructure (including fire) and building activity undertaken on the acute Hospital site. Supporting the Director of Estates and Facilities in delivering all strategic objectives, including the co-ordination of capital, project and back-log programmes, ensuring all technical standards, including engineering excellence and patient safety is at the forefront of Engineering and infrastructure services delivery, through a process of structured accountability and statutory/non statutory compliance in line with the requirements of the HTM/HBN's and supported by a robust Authorised Engineer, Authorised Person and Certified Person structure.
