Auditor - Finance & Markets | S2 | Internal Audit

As a member of the Internal Audit department, you'll share our passion about adding value to our people, customers, communities, and stakeholders, providing robust independent assurance and challenge on the effectiveness of processes and controls across the bank and having exposure to senior stakeholders across our global organisation. As an Auditor, you'll be joining a diverse and growing team that provides tangible commercial impact across our entire business. You'll be participating in Audits to assess the control environment and regulatory adherence related to Finance and Market businesses. The difference you'll make:

• Participating in assurance activities related to Finance & Markets as for example, Capital, Liquidity, Markets, Structural Risk and Finance, ensuring that all work undertaken meets agreed timescales and complies with the methodology quality requirements
• Taking part and in different aspects of the audit from planning, identification of key risks and testing during fieldwork stage
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders across the business and collaborate with other teams as required
  
  Educated to degree level in a Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar subject. Recently graduated candidates will also be considered
• Previous experience in related areas, for example, Internal Controls, Audit, Capital, Liquidity, Structural Risk and Finance
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good Excel knowledge
It would also be nice for you to have:
• Exposure to the use of Data Analytics / programming (for example, Python, SQL)
• Familiarity with the financial services industry, products and services, and regulatory framework in which the bank operates
What else you need to know: This role is based in Milton Keynes. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
