Full Job Description

Join a fast paced, high visibility, and exciting Aviation customer support organization, designed to delight the customer and ensure product support level commitments are achieved. As an embedded member of the Viasat Commercial Aviation team, your bias for action and customer focused approach will ensure airline customers receive best in class support to ensure their Viasat industry leading connectivity experience. Your efforts will directly impact the commercial performance of one of the highest performing businesses within Viasat.
The day-to-day
Set-up and management of new spare support contracts (ISS / warranty repair) for lifetime of program
Operational & financial forecasting, sustaining management
Customer facing program management between the airline customers and repair facilities for:
Primary product support point of contact for airline customers and product suppliers
Drive vendor performance SLAs (finished goods, RMAs, reliability)
Failure analysis & repair shop finding reports of removed hardware (incl. customer reporting)
Supplier KPI reporting & hardware support management (internal & customer facing)
Hardware modification fleet roll out co-ordination (customer facing)
Spares support ownership & reporting for programs to internal and external stakeholders
Internal and external weekly In Service meetings, program 360 reviews, and customer business reviews.
Out Of Warranty finance reporting & charge management
Transactions Support for: RMA creation, Shipping co-ordination, Repair or exchange replenishment fulfilment, & Spares availability management

5+ years' PM experience, ideally within the aviation industry working in the in-flight connectivity sector
Practical and proven experience of SAP, ServiceNow, JIRA, confluence and AMOS
Experience of processing high-value and complex aviation orders with multiple Part Number, configurations, suppliers, customers and delivery cycles
Ability to self-manage the supply chain for large-scale fleet airline programmes - working with third parties to ensure an efficient and cost-effective logistics operation and customer service
