Full Job Description

As the Benefits Senior Manager and Head of Europe/Asia Pacific Benefits, you'll be a key member of the global benefits leadership team. You will provide the global benefits team with leadership and expertise, strategic direction and support in line with Capital's HR Strategy and Long-Term Strategic Plan. You will play a critical role in being responsible for the high-quality and competitive design, implementation, communication, and operational oversight of Capital's inclusive benefit programmes in Europe and Asia Pacific. The premier suite of programmes includes health and life insurance plans, mental health and well-being programs, time away programs and pension plans. As an experienced benefits leader, you'll be well positioned to consult and collaborate with the Global Benefits team to oversee robust market research and benchmarking to ensure programmes' competitiveness, effectiveness, compliance and operational excellence. You will also inspire and partner with HR (e.g., business partners, shared services) and business colleagues (e.g., finance, payroll, legal) on cross-functional processes, projects and initiatives. You are a skilled and influential benefits communicator across diverse populations of associates including key stakeholders and you pride yourself on your ability to build strong connections. Role Description:

  • Responsible for strategic and operational oversight of Europe and Asia Pacific benefit and pension programmes.
  • Keeps well informed of internal and external best practices, trends, issues, and makes strategic recommendations for changes in benefit plan design and policy based on premier market practice in the locations where we reside that will amplify and support Capital's global benefits philosophy.
  • Ensures Capital is well informed on all regulatory-related requirements/updates across regions and is compliant across all plans, partnering with internal and external legal and compliance teams.
  • Oversees the ongoing evaluation of existing benefit and pension plan processes, systems, vendor partners and brokers/consultants. Ensures plan documents and detailed processes/compliance audits are maintained and enhanced as appropriate.
  • Oversees any new program-vendor selection process and leads regular meetings with vendors to build long-term relationships and further future strategic initiatives.
  • Partners with Global Communications on the creation of a variety of benefits communication campaigns and engagement opportunities to help meet associates where they are on their life journey and foster a culture of belonging and well-being (e.g., newsletter, emails, news announcements, training materials, etc.).
  • Strong communicator who consistently demonstrates credibility and influence; seasoned at leading key stakeholders and benefits governing committees through plan updates and recommendations.
  • Advises HR business partners and Shared Services teams on suite of benefits programmes, best practices and resolution of complex/sensitive matters, partnering with HR on a variety of processes/practices to assure appropriate resolution.

    In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
