The City of London Corporation is committed to Equal Opportunities and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

The City of London Corporation want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to thrive in the work that we do. The City of London Corporation is currently undergoing a programme to ensure that our pay and reward practices are competitive and equitable. We are committed to regularly benchmarking and reviewing pay across the whole organisation and against external sectors.

Because our roles are so varied, we don't have a 'one size fits all' policy for workplace attendance. How many days a week you'll be required to attend your workplace will depend on the requirements of your role. It's important that you understand the requirements before applying to ensure you are able to meet them. We are committed to considering requests to work flexibly and job share. Requests will be considered by the recruiting manager in line with our policies and business needs.

For more information on our categories for workplace attendance, please view our guide.

We will be reviewing this policy and approach at regular intervals to ensure we're meeting our attendance needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong numeracy and IT skills, an eye for detail and the ability to interpret data and present that to colleagues and stakeholders in order to shape future decision making as to how the city maintains its estate and associated processes. You will be involved in data maintenance, performance analysis, process design and training, contributing to the success of the Operations Directorate.

The role requires an understanding of Facilities Management and how this is delivered in a diverse portfolio of buildings, particularly in respect of asset management and compliance. In return the position offers an excellent oversight of Facilities Management in an area of fast growing, innovative, technological development as the future of how buildings are managed and maintained evolves.

Knowledge and previous experience of CAFM administration, particularly Concerto software, would be advantageous along with advanced Excel skills, data-base management and an understanding of reporting tools such as PowerBI. However, applications are welcomed from those able to evidence the essential skills and who display a commitment to personal development and continuous improvement.
