CAMHS Clinician

North Yorkshire and York Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services are seeking to recruit a CAMHS Clinician to work in our Harrogate team. This post requires candidates to have a professional registration as a Child, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist., The team is multi-disciplinary and provides specialist assessments, treatment and interventions for young people suffering from moderate to severe complex emotional, behavioural and psychological issues resulting in mental health problems.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, well-motivated, forward-thinking clinician to work as part of our team - working with children and young people and their families living in the Harrogate area.

Candidates must have 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework., Ideally the candidates will already be trained in a governed evidence based therapy such as CBT, DBT, or SFP, be trained as a Non Medical Prescriber (NMP) or be able to evidence specialist skills working with our client group. Experience of working clinically with children and young people with Mental Health and Neurodevelopmental needs is essential.

We have a strong ethos of learning and development. The successful candidate will be supported to develop their specialist skills and knowledge within CAMHS.
