You will work alongside Marketing Managers to oversee the implementation of marketing plans, from instore to digital onsite with our key retail partners. You will work closely with the European local marketing, sales and account teams to launch the greatest tech, develop high impact marketing communications, create rigorous analytical processes to measure their efficacy while optimizing the overall budget. You will co-ordinate with other functions to work on budgets, goals, and workstreams. A successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, understand electronic retail dynamics and trends, with the ability to develop deep to maximize Amazon Device growth while being a conscientious thinker, with the energy to move at pace.,

  • Delivery of 360° marketing campaigns and launch plans of Amazon Devices and Services through our partners & retailers.
  • Development of rolling annual and quarterly plans with key retail partners, aligned with European and local priorities.
  • Management of the successful implementation of the plan within the defined budgets & timelines. You will work in close cooperation with the sales team.
  • Deliver an engaging and consistent CX across necessary retail stores and retailer websites, considering local differences and nuances.
  • Own specific offline/digital workstreams to increase share of voice and share of search. Review and track offline/digital merchandising performance onsite.
  • Execute and ensure tracking of Joint Business Plan (JBP), resulting in delivery of JBP workstreams and volume targets.
  • Develop and strengthen contacts with account partners and agencies to deliver plans.
  • Manage marketing budgets for DE accounts.
  • Develop strong review and tracking mechanisms to continually trial, learn and share across EU5. Establish benchmark, then continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of plans.
  • Plan and roll out any new business accounts, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of activation plans in line with volume aspirations.
  • Understand the detail behind retailers within the business, ensuring all tactical nuances are understood and championed within the business (i.e., capabilities, turnaround times, limitations).
  • A day in the life Based in the DE as a Channel Marketing Manager for our offline business, you will work closely with local account and marketing teams to support the execution of channel marketing activities (campaigns, promotions, etc.) and create rigorous analytical processes to measure their effectiveness. A passion for consumer electronics and Amazon Alexa is a bonus, as you will be responsible for creating advocates with our retail partners for Amazon Devices. This role offers an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and commercial environment where the customer is always first. About the team Within Amazon Devices, the so-called 'Offline' Sales and Marketing team is working relentlessly with electronic retail partners to drive household penetration for our various product offerings throughout all product categories. Our team is full of outstanding talents from various cultural backgrounds, based throughout London, Munich, Madrid, Milan and Paris and together we shape the Amazon Devices business within numerous European countries.

  • Native level fluency in German and English is a must-have.
  • Several years of proven experience within a Marketing role.
  • Thorough knowledge of Marketing principles and best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
  • High attention to detail, precise and effective communication and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven success in delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with key retailers and/or DIY in Germany.
  • Experience in consumer product marketing.
