Full Job Description

The catering department is looking to recruit a part time experienced qualified Chef to work initially at Sandwell Hospital, Birmingham or Rowley Regis Hospital and then at our new hospital Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Smethwick in our Level 5 Restaurant, To carry out a wide range of general catering duties in an efficient and effective manner to ensure that a high quality service is provided at all times. This post has a significant amount of personal contact with staff, patients and members of the public.

Applicants must have City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent with high standards of work, be an outgoing, hard-working and enthusiastic individual that is able to work on their own initiative., To carry out duties to the required standards as efficiently and effectively as possible as part of the production team, to provide a high quality service providing safe and nutritious food to patients, staff and visitors in compliance with the Food Safety Regulations. This post requires good communication skills.
