Full Job Description

· Deliver tailored lessons in line with the nurture curriculum, adapting teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students

· Develop and implement personalised learning plans, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and academic progress

· Work closely with the pastoral team, SENCo, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each pupil's education and care

· Create a supportive, calm, and structured environment where pupils feel safe, valued, and able to express themselves

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Key Stage 3 Teacher to join our team and take responsibility for a year group class as the Class Teacher. The successful candidate will lead small-group and 1:1 sessions, working closely with pupils who may require extra emotional and academic support to reintegrate into full-time classroom learning. You will play a crucial role in helping students build self-esteem, social skills, and resilience, fostering a positive attitude towards learning., · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

· Experience working with students with SEMH needs, preferably within a nurture setting or similar

· Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning

Main Pay Scale (£33,075 - £45,307)
