Full Job Description

The Practice Development Team empowers individuals to maintain and develop their skills, knowledge and competence whilst promoting best practice and high quality standards of care. We:

    You must be either a registered nurse with a passion for teaching underpinned by consistent strong values and be able to influence change through persistence, diplomacy and vision.
  • Clinical facilitators are required to provide clinical expertise, advice and support in order to ensure a consistent, effective approach to patient care, as well as, supporting, promoting, facilitating and actively encouraging innovative practice. An essential aspect is the ability to work autonomously, demonstrate organisational skills, be approachable, communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback. Clinical facilitators are required to work effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team contributing to Corporate Practice Development projects associated with National and Trust wide priorities and objectives. Inter-professional team working across divisions to support colleagues within the team may be required.
