The post holder has a general duty of care for their own health, safety and well being and that of work colleagues, visitors and patients within the hospital, in addition to any specific risk management of clinical governance accountabilities associated with this post.
To observe the rules, policies, procedures and standards of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust together with all relevant statutory and professional obligations.
To observe and maintain strict confidentiality of personal information relating to patients and staff.
To be responsible, with management support, for their own personal development and to actively contribute to the development of colleagues.

[INS: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join :INS] the [INS: Neonatal :INS] Team at the Princess Royal University Hospital[INS: . :INS] The post holder will work as an integral member of the Local Neonatal Unit. They will form part of the team to deliver quality services particularly pertaining to infection control, audit and non-clinical patient services.
The post holder will be required to work closely with ward staff, matron, contractors and support services. They will monitor quality standards and arrange for deficiencies to be rectified.
You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to monitoring quality standards. Being able to demonstrate excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. You should have proven time-management and organisational skills as you will need to manage your time effectively across two clinical areas.
