You will work flexibly as part of a team producing clinical correspondence using Medisec digital transcription software, from outpatient and inpatient attendances. To meet the changing priorities within the department, you will also be required to display tact and diplomacy where appropriate and have excellent communication skills as well as demonstrating a flexible approach to working within a team environment. In addition these roles will support other activities identified by the Team Leader to ensure the highest standard of service delivery within the speciality team., We are looking for a Clinical Typist & Administrator for our Trauma and Orthopaedics speciality in the Surgical Division.
You will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Medical Terminology as well as audio typing experience. You will also have RSA II Typing (or equivalent qualification/experience) and GCSE English Language at minimum Grade C (or equivalent)., Clerical experience in a healthcare setting would be desirable. Experience with Medisec, PAS and Excel, would also be an advantage.
