Full Job Description

  • Coordinate and review client reconciliations (client budget vs cost incurred)
  • Own the balance sheet and project ledger reconciliations for your account portfolio.
  • Deliver the internal plan, quarterly and ad-hoc forecasts in partnership with Client Service Directors.
  • Invoice for client activity. There will be monthly reviews with business partners of outstanding debt & unbilled production. You will drive actions to ensure optimum levels of working capital are achieved.
  • Monthly meetings to drive the Finance agenda & optimise financial metrics.
  • General business partnering, ad-hoc analysis & supporting business projects/initiatives.
  • In this role you will also:
  • Ensure all costs are budgeted and charged appropriately.
  • Review forecast consistency of financial data driven by business assumptions and rate cards.
  • Improve Financial Knowledge of non-financial personnel through delivering the initiatives identified and agreed.
  • Ensure accounting entries & transactions adhere to the CPM control and compliance framework.
  • Undertake analysis and reporting of accounting information for business units, helping the operational manager & client director understand their cost base.
  • Look for areas of improved profitability through cost reduction or better pricing., In this role you will work as part of our valued finance team based at our head office in Thame. You would be responsible for all aspects of client accounting across a selection of our prestigious clients.

    We are looking for the ideal candidate who has at least 1-2 years of experience in working in a financial environment. The ability to manage your own resources, as well as being PC literate and highly developed in Excel skills and intermediate Office skills is also required., Proactive, self-starter, quick learner with desire to make improvements to process.
  • Excellent communication & listening skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Well-developed PC skills including advanced Excel knowledge
  • Ideally studying towards ACA or ACCA
