Full Job Description

We are looking to bolster our commercial team within our UK North business unit with the appointment of a Commercial Manager. The Commercial Lead will take full commercial responsibility and ownership for the project, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure a successful project is delivered, while maintaining relationships and maximising commercial returns and managing risk.,

  • Liaise with the customer, his representatives and other 3rd parties on commercial issues, including the agreement of additional monies.
  • Cost and value management for project, ensuring appropriate systems and procedures are in place
  • Financial reporting for project
  • Change management for project: record change and allocate responsibility. Evaluate/recover any change that is not Sisks's risk/liability (including recovery from 3rd parties.
  • Risk and opportunity management for project: management (with operations team) of known and newly identified risks and opportunities for best project return as well as identification and implementation of mitigation measures
  • Manage commercial team to ensure delivery of key responsibilities and develop their knowledge
  • Qualifications/Training
  • Membership of a Professional Institution - such as SCSI or RICS
  • Behavioural Based Safety (BBS)
  • Minor project work - building and civils
  • Work winning
  • Reviewing T&C's
  • Managing and reporting on a portfolio of work
  • Developing a team
