Full Job Description

Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements., We are seeking a skilled Commercial Contract Manager to lead the change control process, ensuring value for money on change requests and associated costs, while excelling in stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the change control process to maintain organizational coherence and efficiency.
  • Ensure value for money on all change requests and associated costs.
  • Excel in stakeholder engagement to foster effective collaborations and maintain strong relationships.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach in contract management.
  • Apply adept supplier relationship management for seamless interactions.
  • Exhibit high numeracy skills.
  • Lead negotiation, drafting, and review of diverse contracts, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, programme, and project teams for risk assessment.
  • Monitor contract performance, identifying solutions for seamless project delivery.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of governance and regulations affecting contracts.
  • Conduct in-depth commercial reviews, presenting efficiency recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for alignment between contractual obligations and operational excellence.
  • Act as a mentor, providing guidance on best practices in contract management.

    Proven experience as a Contract Manager, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Proficient in managing change control processes and ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Robust understanding of contract law, displaying proficiency in negotiating favourable terms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented approach in analysing complex contractual language.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Law, or Mathematics.
  • Professional qualifications such as MCIPS or CIPS.
