  • The Opportunity Through our medical devices businesses we help to keep hearts healthy. This year we are looking for two motivated students with a passion for healthcare to join our medical devices businesses - one will join our Cardiac Rhythm Management business and one will join Electrophysiology , starting summer of 2024 for 12 months, based predominantly from our wonderful Solihull office. Main Accountabilities Our placement year will see you gain valuable experience in key business functions, including:
  • Real-world commercial projects;
  • Marketing - supporting marketing campaigns & marketing initiatives;
  • Education - supporting the education team with delivery of training, both internally & externally to healthcare professionals.
  • Alongside, we will enable field visits, shadowing our Clinical Specialists and/or Territory Managers in the field, allowing you to see life-changing procedures, as well as supporting on other ad hoc projects and tasks, enabling you to get valuable insights into the medical devices industry and grow your network.

  • Successful completion of the first two years of a Biomedical Science (or similar) degree;
  • Interest in a Medical Devices organisation and a commercial role;
  • IT skills (Microsoft office);
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Willingness to commute to the Solihull office as well as travel as required - candidates will need a driving licence.
