Springer Nature is running a comprehensive array of global commercial partnerships across the organisation. To align, steer and help further develop these for maximising the commercial success and according to Springer Nature's strategy we are seeking a Commercial Program Executive to join the Content Partnership and Rights & Permissions team. In this position, youwill assist and operationally manage the oversight of Springer Nature's commercial partnerships including the coordination, management, and optimisation of partnership programmes to align with and support the organisation's strategic goals. Reporting into the Commercial Director Content Distribution Partnerships, Rights & Licensing, this role is critical in revenue growth and develop the company's collaborations with our partners through the effective management and optimisation of our commercial partnerships. Through effective management and optimisation of our commercial partnerships, you will enhance their commercial impact, ensuring they are fully aligned with our sales strategy and broader business objectives. Role Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Commercial Director in the daily operational work.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional efforts to ensure projects complement and support each other, optimizing synergies and maximising sales potential
  • Take responsibility and accountability of each project assigned by the Commercial Director when liaising with internal departments, such as Sales, Legal, Procurement, Product Platform Group, etc. to ensure cohesive efforts and to leverage partnerships for mutual benefit.
  • Implementing pre-agreed strategies across various business clusters, ensuring consistent and effective collaboration with partners.
  • Contributing in the strategic planning and decision-making by providing insights and analysis on partnership performance and market trends.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations within partnerships, minimising data protection and other risks by using Springer Nature Data Protection tools internal
  • With the support of the Commercial Director Identifying opportunities for new partnerships or expansion of existing ones to drive growth and innovation within Springer Nature.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver on partnership initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution

  • Excellent administration skills
  • Sales experience
  • Demonstrable customer service skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular MicrosoftExcel
  • Demonstrable experience prioritising tasks and working to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Motivated, flexible and able to work independently
  • Desirable
  • Bookselling or publishing experience (preferably)
  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Previous customer service or clerical experience
