Full Job Description

The Health Business Centre serves as a vital component of the Suffolk 0-19 Healthy Child Service, functioning as the single point of contact for clients, staff, and stakeholders while supporting the delivery of health visiting and school nursing services across Suffolk. Operated by a Clinical Duty Team comprising health visitors, school nurses, and staff nurses, the centre works to ensure families receive seamless, efficient, and timely care in support of the Healthy Child Programme. The team emphasises the importance of collaborative work, maintaining a solution-focused approach, and fostering positive working relationships to deliver optimal service.

  • Do you have proven experience of working with children, young people and their families?
  • Would you like to take on a role within the Clinical Duty Team?
  • Are you passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people in Suffolk?, Be a positive role model, team player and have excellent clinical knowledge of childrens health and development
  • Be an excellent communicator and have good organisational and IT skills.
  • You will receive induction into the HBC, management/peer supervision and ongoing development to support you in this new role. You will need
  • To be a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered Nurse
  • Relevant experience of working with children, young people and their families
  • Experience of using evidence-based assessment and intervention tools to meet the needs of our clients
  • Good working IT skills to enable you to use a range of software i.e Microsoft packages, SystmOne and MS Teams.
