Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Compliance and Risk Senior Analyst to join our established and experienced Compliance and Risk team here at RSA on a hybrid basis. Preferred locatoins are London, Horsham or Halifax.

Your role

As the Compliance and Risk Senior Analyst you will play a key part in keeping RSA safe through providing value, insight and working in partnership with the business as part of the Compliance and Risk function.

Your role is critical to ensuring key risks to RSA are managed, controlled, and considered appropriately in day-to-day, and strategic decision making.

You will be focused on Financial (Capital, Market) and Insurance (Underwriting, Pricing, Claims) Risk including Internal Model Validation, Stress and Scenario Testing, and thematic risk reviews. You will also be supporting on Enterprise and Operational risk, including analysis, reporting, and assurance activities.

RSA is constantly changing, and the role needs to respond to that through providing external insight, assessing the key risks the organisation faces, and providing assurance that risk measurement techniques are sufficient.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a background in statistical analysis, either through a relevant qualification (e.g. Mathematics, Actuarial Science or similar) or experience of such techniques gained in the workplace.

Experience in a risk specialism (financial, insurance, operational) is preferred. Good understanding of Commercial / Specialty insurance is a differentiator.

You will have good commercial acumen, analytical skill, an understanding of risk management and control in insurance, and a proven ability to manage and build relationships with Management. You will bring a growth mindset with genuine appetite to learn, and a desire to drive change in Compliance and Risk, and RSA.
