Full Job Description

This post is based at Doncaster Royal Infirmary but the post holder will work across hospital sites. They will be responsible for the continued delivery and further development of an already established haematology service for patients living within the catchment area of the Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospital Trust and surrounding areas., The post holder will work within a team of six Consultant Haematologists, two Specialty Trainees, one Staff Grade, one IMT doctor and 5 Haematology Cancer Nurse Specialists to provide comprehensive Haematology care to patients. There is a dedicated haemato-oncology ward with 12 patient capacity as well as day unit for delivery of chemotherapy and other intravenous treatments.
