Consultant in Radiology (MSK)

2. OBJECTIVES OF THE POST The post holders skills in MSK radiology will complement and support the current demand on the service to deliver care to patients with MSK radiology needs at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust including Care of patients through specialist diagnostic and interventional procedures Contribute to specialist multi-disciplinary team meetings Supervision of trainee medical staff 2.1 Collaborate with Consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within the Radiology CSU and across the Trust. 2.2 Contribute to research, teaching and new developments within the department. The post holder will be encouraged to facilitate and contribute to the current clinical research programs ongoing in the department. 2.3 Contribute to formal specialist trainee teaching within the Yorkshire Radiology Academy. 2.4 Contribute to the clinical supervision and training of specialist trainees and clinical fellows in MSK and interventional radiology. 2.5 There will be a
requirement to attend and lead multi-disciplinary meetings, contribute to audit and assist non-medical staff in their roles in the department
