Full Job Description

The post holder will be one of two consultant psychiatrists in the team and provide assessment and treatment for all patients with early psychosis in their area. They will work alongside a passionate and highly committed multidisciplinary early intervention in psychosis team, including psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, support workers and others, to cover a geographical patch around Peterborough. In addition to direct clinical care, the post holders are expected to be active in teaching and training - including medical students, staff members and psychiatry trainees.

The post holder is expected to form close working relationships with team managers and to provide support and supervision to junior doctors in their teams.
