Full Job Description

At UK Power Networks, we are looking for a talented Control Systems Engineer with a focus on cyber security to join our dynamic team. Based in our Fore Hamlet, Ipswich office, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and securing control systems applications, services, and data for EPN, LPN, and SPN networks. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £76,229.00, a 3% bonus, and the flexibility of blended working after a six-month probationary period. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Integrate advanced cyber security measures into Operational Technology (OT) systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and threat analysis for SCADA, DMS, OMS, and other OT applications.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Cyber Security Centre's Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) Enhanced Profile.
  • Enhance the resilience of infrastructure components through robust redundancy and disaster recovery mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with IS and Cyber teams to maintain operational continuity during incidents or cyberattacks.
