Full Job Description
- Leads, manages and holds the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed- upon commitments, goals and targets.
- Functioning as a strategic partner, collaborating with the CEO/Founder and helping to make new ideas/innovations a reality, converting vision to strategy to tactical plans
- Effectively manages and executes the business plan against the P&L - driving the tempo of the business
- Prioritises key business initiatives and supports others to do so across the departments
- Oversees all departments, the people, the processes and the metrics - provides direction to the team, building and managing the company scorecard and monitoring performance
- Is a master problem solver and empowers and nurtures others to effectively solve issues. Helps to solve client, service and people issues.
- Ensures that everyone is truly following and adhering to the company's operating procedure, systems and core processes with consistency.
- Demonstrates effective project management and is very detail orientated to keep the smaller things in sight, while also having follow-through ability and a GSD attitude to effectively takes things to completion
- Responsible for the overall organisation structure and development, ensuring our structure evolves to serve current and future market need
- Leads people development/coaching/mentoring - to ensure harmony and balance and to retain and grow talent. This will involve gaining an understanding of other roles in the company to help team members establish growth goals for themselves and create development plans
- Act as a champion of the business/team culture and core values and empowers others to recognise, reward and hold each other accountable to them
- Confirms that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organisation. Inherently ensures that everyone is in the know. Verifies that a high level of effective communication exists throughout the organisation. This is a comms agency after all!
