I feel privileged to be working with the whole team." Age UK Plymouth is seeking a Cook to play a key role in supporting our clients through the promotion of choice, opportunity and independence. The primary role here is to produce nutritional meals that are served to the Clients of Age UK Plymouth's two centres, in Plymouth and Plymstock. We have a catering kitchen at both sites so we are looking for someone whole is able to commute to both Mount Gould and Plymstock without issue. You would be supported by a management structure as well as a team of dedicated cooks who all bring a high calibre of catering experience to our team. Our sites are day time operations meaning the hours of work are during the daytime with little or no evening work required. Working times can very occasionally vary with events and meeting provision all adding to the mix of what you would be doing.,

• On top of the 5.6 weeks annual leave with Age UK Plymouth your annual leave will also increase by an additional day with each year of service for the 1st 5 years.

  The successful candidate will have experience of working in a commercial kitchen, good levels of communication and be prepared to work with the current team to understand the importance of our food delivery.
Food Hygiene certification is essential for this role and a catering qualification is desirable however, if you are able to demonstrate relevant experience in this type of catering you will be considered.
