Full Job Description

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the school by:
+ Supervising classes during the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a calm and focused learning environment.
+ Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across a variety of subjects and year groups.
+ Managing classroom behavior effectively and ensuring that school policies are upheld.
+ Providing support to students, encouraging engagement and learning.
+ Liaising with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure continuity of education for all students.

We are delighted to be working alongside a thriving secondary school that is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team from January 2025. This is a long-term supply role with the exciting potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate., + Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or similar setting.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
+ Confidence in managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning environment.
