Full Job Description

The Data Engineering Technical Lead will provide technical expertise and delivery capability across the development & IT Change community. The role will be critical to ensuring development standards are maintained in delivering solutions to time and budgetary targets.

If so, we would love to hear from you., We are looking for a Data Engineering Technical Lead to join our growing team, the ideal candidate will have experience working as a senior data engineer in data lake/lake house architecture platform and hands on experience of developing data pipelines using pyspark and SQL., You will be a technical expert who is able to give informed technical input into the preparation of solution designs, good understanding of the detailed technical deliverables and requirements across multiple projects and can keep a clear overview of all aspects of this area.,

  • Strong technical consultancy experience across ETL/Data Warehouse/Big Data but comfortable with hands on delivery.
  • Working experience of Cloud Technologies and data eco system, AWS is preferable.
  • Expert on development of data pipeline based on Pyspark and SQL with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Tivoli etc
  • Knowledge of OLAP implementation on any Database technologies (Snowflake preferred)
  • Excellent understanding of Data Engineering methodologies, with the ability to explore new technologies and patterns as required in project execution

  • Starting salary between £60,000 - £65,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
