Full Job Description

We have a role available in our Grand Central & HIM Team for Deputy Applications Managers. This position will be perfect for you, if you are looking to develop your experience in programme management within the NHS. The role will unify policies, procedures, practices and skilled teams initially across Guy's and St Thomas' & King's College Hospital NHS Trusts. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of delivering multiple projects on time, with minimal supervision. It is key that candidates have NHS System knowledge and are able to suggest ways to improve current workflows.The post holder is responsible for supporting and coaching the team to develop their analytical skills and ensuring timely delivery of build; ensuring design integrity within their area; managing key stakeholder relationships and expectations while resolving conflict when necessary; managing any non-Epic systems within their remit; working with MDI, GSTT, KCH and ITCS technology teams.As a Deputy
Applications Manager for the Clinical Systems team, the post holder has overall responsibility for the team that configures the Epic modules as well as other software applications related to the areas of care delivery within which their role is based.Please note this role requires hybrid working with a 50/50 split and will necessitate travel between Guy's and St. Thomas', King's College Hospital and Royal Brompton and Harefield sites.

As a Deputy Applications Manager you will work directly with all Analysts, as well as clinicians and administrative staff to agree best practice and identify workflows that are the best fit for each Specialty. We are therefore seeking individuals who have appropriate qualifications and clinical or operational NHS experience. Accreditation in an Epic module is essential - preferably Grand Central & HIM and experience of an Epic implementation in the NHS would be beneficial to evidence in your application. As a Deputy Applications Manager you will manage a team of Senior Analysts and Support Analysts and take joint responsibility with other workstream leads for the delivery of future projects alongside BAU management responsibilities.

You must be able to juggle multiple, sometimes conflicting deadlines and maintain strong working relationships across the wider end user community as well as others within the ITCS team.Strong communication skills, including the ability to break down barriers of understanding across teams and leading by example will be essential in this role.
