Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Nurse

As a Diagnostic Imaging Nurse, you'll provide high-quality, patient-focused care within both Diagnostic Imaging and Theatre settings. Your role will be diverse and rewarding, working closely with Consultant Radiologists to assist with interventional procedures for both inpatients and outpatients.,

• Core hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, with potential future adjustments based on service requirements
• Possible on-call duties as required

Some physical demands include wearing lead aprons for extended periods and manual handling of patients, beds, and trolleys. • Performing as a Scrub Nurse within the theatre setting
• Booking and monitoring patients during procedures
• Collaborating with Consultant Radiologists, Theatre teams, and the Interventional Lead Radiographer
• Providing nursing support across the Imaging Department, liaising with various section heads as needed
  
  Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Band 5 Nurse in a hospital setting
• Background in a theatre or angio suite setting is highly advantageous
