Full Job Description

The Director, International Diversity, Equity & Inclusion will be responsible for managing and aligning the global people DEI strategy's development, deployment, communication, and operations initiatives for our international markets. This position will sync our global DEI strategy with our international business goals by building the overall approach for each markets action plans, and goals by providing strategic leadership on policies, practices and change management in DEI. In addition, this role will support our leadership development and talent management initiatives through leveraging DEI dashboards and scorecards for analysis, planning, and storytelling. You will report directly to the Senior Director, Global People DEI and will have a number of stakeholders across the IOM and IDL Global People team.

  • Demonstrated experience and practice in DEI leadership, strategy deployment, and facilitation for a diverse group of international markets to drive cultural enhancement, ensuring DEI principles are consistently integrated into the company's processes, policies, and practices.
  • Highly skilled in creating DEI strategies and practices are aligned with our ambitions and embed in our People practices for sustainability.
  • Experience working cross-culturally with varied colleagues in a global environment with solid influencing, negotiation and facilitation skills to champion and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, subordinates and other key partners.
  • A strong track record of design, implement, and execute initiatives for scale and sustainability.
  • Proven analytical skills and the ability to provide cultural insights, emerging market demographic analysis, and socio-economic conditions and indicators to make recommendations and inform action.
  • Senior level expertise across variety of communications methods with an excellent ability to engage with people at all levels of an organization, from crew to franchise owners and including digital deployment of communications methods.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization on DE&I topics, both internally and externally, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.
  • Compassionate leader with outstanding proficiency in mentoring, influencing, and building high performing teams.
