And as we work toward our mission to instill responsible data practices across Meta, our main focus is on meeting our obligations and doing so with increasing efficiency. In service of this goal we have an org leadership role available in Privacy, which will put you right at the heart of some of the company's most important investments and challenges. You will support a team of seasoned Product Managers working on a company wide regulatory response, supporting product teams across Meta on both strategy and execution. Or you may develop a deep expertise in a particular theme of external pressure, shaping the company product direction and developing centralised systems and tooling to allow the business to execute at pace whilst staying on top of our obligations. In this role you will be leading a team of senior Product Managers who will be responsible for: Director, Product Management - Privacy Responsibilities

  • Build a deep understanding of the evolving external regulatory and competitive landscape
  • Own x-Meta data strategy and implementation across a variety of Meta's products.
  • Ensure Meta provides adequate transparency and control to users for its data processing purposes.
  • Manage risk from both (a) large internal privacy decisions on key product launches, and (b) evolving regulatory landscape

    Prior success supporting senior Product Managers/managers who are building mission-critical products
  • Experience leading in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones.
  • Have experience supporting large, multi-org initiatives by operating effectively through others.
  • Robust product sense and ability to distill simple strategies from complex inputs
  • Evidence of ability to land decisions with hard x-company tradeoffs in fast moving environments
  • Experience of (and passion for) creating and optimizing operating models and processes, frameworks for prioritization, reporting, and evaluating operational quality.
  • Extreme clarity in communication.
  • Comfort with conflict resolution and high stakes escalations.
  • Experience working with, influencing, and presenting to executive level stakeholders (VP/C-level).
