Full Job Description

The role of Securitized Product Sales (SPS) will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share by developing and executing sales strategies for securitized products in the European market. Reporting to the Head of SPS Europe, the sales individual must show ability to build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, while also working closely with product development, trading, and all other affiliated groups that aligns with the firm's overall business goals and objectives. The products will be focused on but not exclusively broadly syndicated and middle market CLOs, credit facilities, ABS products, financing, and any current or future growth initiative. This role contributes to the overall success of the Structured Credit unit within Global Capital Markets ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. This role falls into scope under the Certification Regime and requires the individual to be internally 'Certified' as a significant harm function. Accountabilities

  • Building and maintaining relationship with existing clients to identify new business opportunities
  • Developing and executing a sales strategy to achieve growth targets
  • Working knowledge of transaction structures and demonstrate ability to communicate to clients
  • Identifying new clients and building relationships with key decision-maker clients
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
  • Coordinate with other sales teams across the firm to identify cross-sell opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for market share expansion
  • Providing regular updates on sales activities, progress, and results
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the firm's securitized product capabilities and build relationships with key industry participants
  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Code of Conduct.
  • Contributes to a high performance environment and fosters an inclusive work environment; supporting the vison/values/business strategy for the team.

    Bachelor's degree (master's degree a plus but not necessary)
  • Proven experience with structuring/sales/syndication (CLO specific experience preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships
  • Client focused mindset and deep understanding of the structured credit markets and investor base
  • Relationship with CLO managers and ability to attract new issue (refi/reset) mandates is a plus.
