Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity, to be a key player in building our Corporate Coverage business. You'll be at the forefront of growing our corporate relationships, with a specific focus on delivering our Liabilities, Payments and TFX growth strategy into 2025 and beyond. You'll foster client loyalty and satisfaction to deepen client relationships using a consultative, client-led approach, whilst driving the growth ambitions of the group. Your roles and responsibilities will include:

  • New business: originate new business through introductions from new client onboards / funding
  • Existing clients: Actively managing an existing portfolio of established CM&P and TFX relationships to capture new wallet with the client for CM&P + TFX solutions in additional business units and maintain awareness of attrition risk and take reasonable steps to mitigate
  • KPIs / Income impact: Responsible for contributing to the delivery of deposit NII and OOI targets for your client portfolio' actively provide inputs on meetings, deals and other activity for senior management reporting and other team updates
  • Cross-sell: Actively drive cross-sell by introducing other product partners into the conversation with clients
  • Promises: Maintain focus and momentum of CM&P and TFX opportunities that form part of business cases that support loan and trade deal returns - highlight where probability of these opportunities significantly declines through losses of RfP's or competitive awards of relevant business
  • Strategy execution: As a senior team member drive execution of the sales strategy for your client portfolio / sector including strategic liquidity conversations, TFX, new operational banking mandates, new revenue / leakage prevention programmes and other initiatives
  • Thought leadership: Capture client testimonials and stories as re-usable client case studies to socialise success internally and with client permission for client use.
  • Competitor intelligence: Actively feedback observations around competitor approaches and capabilities to the product teams. Understand the external market and competitor capabilities, enabling LBG to consider gaps in proposition with the potential to unlock growth.

    TBS Technical Specialist Sales experience: Proven ability to analyse client's operational requirements and propose appropriate liquidity, payments and transactional FX solutions to achieve the right strategic outcomes for complex corporate clients
  • Sales & Relationship Management: Proven ability to communicate client requirements and solutions proposed with clarity to product management and implementation teams
  • Client and internal communication: The ability to communicate expertly with clarity, credibility and influence in technical sales pitches, client seminars, internal deal forums and sales management meetings.
