Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Trauma and Orthopaedic department. We are looking for a Directorate Data Coordinator to our team. As part of this large and friendly department you'll be expected to maintain a high level of data input focusing on individual patient reports. Within this role monthly figures will be presented at Governance meetings determining the performance and achievements of individual orthopaedic surgical consultants. This will include data for elective as well as trauma patients., The post holder will provide a vital central link for the directorate, updating, reviewing, notifying and disseminating accurate information between consultants, secretaries, ward staff, main theatres and day procedure unit by using systems to assist Bluespier, the Orthopaedic in house system, etc. The post holder will provide reports and monitor ensuring adherence to other internal departmental policies/procedures. To ensure accurate data input of the National Joint Registry Data for the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital to support the National Mandatory reporting. To ensure the directorate's compliance to the National Joint Registry's requirements for data submission in order to facilitate the recording, monitoring, analysis and reporting of performance outcomes in joint replacement surgeries in a continuous drive to improve service quality and patient outcomes.
