Full Job Description

Due to the ongoing success and continued project award with Thames Water, our PTSN Projects team is looking to recruit a Document Controller on a permanent basis to work from our office in Basingstoke. The primary function of the role is to provide support to the PTSN project teams, ensuring technical documents and design drawings are issued following procedures and provide document guidance to all team members. This opportunity offers a varied and dynamic working environment aiding in the delivery of essential project work for our client. Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Controlling project documentation and drawings.
  • Advising the numbering, naming convention, filing, and formatting of documents and drawings issued by the project teams.
  • Following and improving document control procedures.
  • Ensuring site and office documentation conform to the company and client requirements and standards.
  • Using PowerBI Dashboards, review non-compliance on projects.
  • Produce document progress reports for senior managers.
  • Produce BIM Execution Plans.
  • Tracking and dealing with staff queries and problems.
  • Any other duties as required by the business.

    Qualified to HNC level would be advantageous.
  • Previous office/administrative experience.
  • Good use of Microsoft Products, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (face to face and telephone).
  • Work to deadlines to produce work to a high standard.
  • Understanding the BIM process would be advantageous.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
