Full Job Description

  • Deliver inspiring Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level Drama for the right candidate.
  • Develop and refine curriculum materials that align with national standards while promoting creativity and self-expression.
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback that nurtures growth, academic success, and creative development.
  • Use assessment data to inform teaching practices, address learning gaps, and offer tailored support to individual students.
  • Contribute to the school's ongoing development, engaging in reflective practice and participating in school-wide initiatives and improvement plans.
  • Play an active role in the school community, supporting extracurricular drama clubs, performances, and other school events., Be part of an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school with a reputation for academic excellence and a supportive, innovative teaching environment.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Drama in secondary schools.
  • Strong knowledge of the Drama curriculum.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related subject (desirable).
