Driver's Mate

8.4 hours per day - Working 5 out of 7 but mainly Monday to Friday., You will be out and about every day, working in all weather conditions, helping and assisting our Drivers with deliveries to well-known pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants across the region. You will need to use initiative, be proactive and get stuck in to ensure our customers get the goods they ordered, on time and in a reasonable condition.

What you'll get up to:

- Working closely with our drivers, you'll be helping deliver our drinks to pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants across the country, where no two days are the same!
- A variety of tasks includes, helping to load and unload the vehicle, giving a hand with tricky manoeuvres especially with reversing, repacking pallets, forward planning with getting the order to our customer in a safe manner, customer service going through the delivery with our customer to ensure all goods are received and using the electronic device to sign off orders or notify of any missing items.
- Safety will be your number one priority and it's important that you're professional and friendly to our customers.
- Depot has onsite parking for you to use whilst on shift
- Help empty the truck after shift of all empty kegs, pallets and any rubbish.

Ability to undertake heavy lifting as kegs can weigh up 60kg
- Be prepared to walk up to 15,000 steps a day
- Ready to take the initiative and work as part of a team not only on the truck but also in the Warehouse
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- To be well organised and keen to learn new skills
- As you'll be handling alcohol, we'll need you to be at least 18 years of age to undertake the role.
- PPE and uniform will be provided
