Full Job Description

This role is available to recent graduates of the University of Leeds only.
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Have you recently graduated from the University of Leeds? Would you like to gain valuable experience working in a department that aims to raise the aspirations and attainment of learners in schools and colleges across the country? Would you like to share your experiences of applying to, and studying at, the University of Leeds?
Educational Engagement works with secondary schools and further education colleges to support learners at every stage of their educational journey. We offer a comprehensive and sustained programme of outreach initiatives, projects and events aimed at a range of audiences including prospective students, parents and carers, teachers and other key influencers involved in supporting young learners with higher education progression. We provide progression and subject specific higher education outreach at all stages of the student journey, both on and off campus.
Working across Educational Engagement, you will play a key role supporting the creation of resources, the delivery of engaging and interactive outreach and student success activities and the evaluation of this work.
Linking with staff across the University, you will represent the University of Leeds at our on- and off-campus events, working with schools and colleges to ensure that learners, teachers, careers advisers and parents understand the benefits of studying at the University of Leeds, the courses we offer and the progression routes available.
This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Information on other visa options is available at: https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas.
