Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Grade 4 Network Planner to join us at our Birmingham depot on a temporary basis for a 9 month period, subject to review., Plan, prepare and deliver new services/alterations/small capital projects Carry out onsite meetings Work with wayleaves/estates specialist to obtain 3rd party agreements for NGED assets Financially review and close projects Communicate with customers effectively to manage expectations and resolve queries Schedule contracted works Communicate with local authorities and external stakeholders

To apply you'll need English and Maths GCSE at Grade C/Level 4 minimum OR Functional Skills Level 2 or above. We'll need to see evidence of your qualifications., The Ideal CandidateWe need you to understand our customers and their needs; strong communication skills are key, so you can solve their problem and explain issues simply and clearly. As you'll be in control of your diary, we'll need you to be resilient, organised and able to prioritise your workload. Team players thrive in this role, and experience using iPads and computers is a must. You will need to be mobile throughout the area as you may be required to undertake standby duties. You may not possess all the skills required to carry out the role at present but you will have the confidence and ability to reach the necessary standards with appropriate training. If not already attained you will be required to undertake a Level 2 City & Guilds 2339 qualification and complete TAR, which includes daily diary completion and a number of tasks and reports as required. A valid driving licence is required for this role.

As part of our hybrid working approach this role offers a mix of office and home working. Hybrid working can only be considered once your initial training is complete and subject to business need.
