Full Job Description

The Account Director is responsible for leading a major client account by assisting and supporting the CBRE Leadership team in managing all aspects of the account evolution, including expansion (geography / scope), service levels, contract renewal, team development and overall profitability. They will be responsible for the management of all real estate services and operations of client's sites across all regions to ensure a consistent and high level of service delivery.,

  • Lead a Team of 3-4 Portfolio/Transaction Managers responsible for the Novartis (NVS) real estate portfolio in RoW Region (i.e. EMEA, Latin America & Canada)
  • Developing portfolio strategies with focus on major locations in full alignment with other functions (CPS, Ops Directors, Integrated WS) to drive prioritization and alignment
  • Implementing tactical execution of transactions and other real estate projects as driven by the agreed NVS real estate strategy and lease events.
  • Acting as Project Coordinator on select major site/campus strategies overseeing all project streams by ensuring E2E delivery, where required
  • Leading engagement with key NVS stakeholders
  • Leading local A&T teams and 3 rd party consultants
  • Ensuring delivery of Transaction Management and other services in accordance with GMA (including issue escalation and resolution)
  • Data Owner for all A&T systems deployed regionally
  • Driving transformation agenda with wider account team
  • Engaging the CBRE platform / driving thought leadership
  • Providing mentoring to team members to help individuals grow, including on learning the E2E process of a Project Coordinator
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders (NVS and CBRE)
  • Governing use of platform tools and data within the region
  • Ensuring CBRE plans and priorities are aligned with NVS
  • Ensuring E2E delivery focus of teams (requiring close alignment with other functional leads)
  • Ownership and ongoing maintenance of a portfolio plan for the region/focus countries (3-year outlook) to support ongoing NVS planning (LF, TGT, Strat Plan etc.) and delivery activity
  • Working with Novartis Portfolio Strategy Lead, Novartis REFS Finance and Novartis Procurement to align strategy and demonstrate value of the CBRE RES Team.
  • Oversee Lease Administration, Workplace and Change Management service delivery function for the RoW Region.
  • Replacement for Brandon Aitken who will move to a new role on the Novartis account as the RoW Account Regional Lead.

  • This particular role is the is within the RoW team working closely with the RoW Regional Account Lead to deliver the real estate strategies and transaction, workplace and change management for Novartis.
  • This particular role, given the geographic location and proximity to the client teams in Switzerland and Prague also lends to be the natural "A&T Account Lead Globally". In this role you act as the A&T SPOC for the Global Governance Teams, other Real Estate Leads in the US, CH and APCJ, and GWS Novartis account lead.
