Full Job Description

Are you gifted at assessing Industrial company strategies? Do you love performing detailed research on the companies' financials, making differentiated forecasts and coming up with stock views to deliver to investors? We're looking for someone like that who can:

  • Conduct financial statement analysis, build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate intelligent forecasts
  • Write research reports on listed Industrial companies with Buy/Neutral/Sell recommendations, analyzing factors such as business development, trends, opportunities and valuation
  • Individual stock coverage will be a near term priority in the role with the level and speed of coverage as a key priority but subject to experience
  • Remain current on market themes to help frame investment views and strategies
  • Pitch investment ideas to external and internal clients
  • Ability to draw on new sources of data and analysis to drive research output

    Relevant work experience and/or academic background in the Industrials space
  • A self-starter with the potential for immediate stock coverage
  • Financial statement analysis and modelling skills, strong knowledge of Excel or other data analysis tools
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics in a simple manner - both in person and on paper
  • Ability to push projects through to completion and hit deadlines
  • Interest in Industrials, stock markets and valuation
