EMEA Treasury Regional Markets Liquidity- Associate

You will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the liquidity and funding requirements of the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) in the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in a strategic view of CIB's activities with a keen interest in capital markets, liquidity risk management, and funding. As an Associate in the EMEA CIB Treasury Regional Markets Liquidity Team, you will work closely with senior finance leadership and various teams to ensure robust management of CIB liquidity and funding in the region. You will be responsible for ongoing liquidity oversight for the CIB Markets activity, contributing to various initiatives as the responsibilities of the group continue to grow. This role offers exposure and responsibility across varying levels of management and is ideal for a dynamic individual with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for capital markets and liquidity risk management. Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIB Markets LOBs, Corporate Treasury, and Regional Markets Liquidity teams to ensure robust liquidity and funding management.
• Forecast regularly future balance sheet, funding, and liquidity requirements, and track vs. actuals.
• Construct and maintain daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly liquidity metrics reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review EMEA legal entity liquidity stress test results, working with the business to understand, forecast, and optimize liquidity usage.
• Implement a methodology to charge LOBs for liquidity usage at the legal entity level.
• Provide thoughtful analyses to support ALCO (asset and liability committee) review.
• Ensure liquidity stress methodology accurately represents potential liquidity requirements of CIB Markets businesses.
• Partner with Liquidity Risk Infrastructure (LRI) and Liquidity Controllers to ensure accurate liquidity risk reporting.
• Provide analysis required by regulators and develop responses to ad hoc regulatory requests.
• Support legal entity strategy by contributing to the development of pro-forma analyses for EMEA legal entities' liquidity, funding, and stress testing profiles.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Working knowledge of Investment Bank products, financial theory, and accounting principles.
• Knowledge of ALM, funding and liquidity, and regulatory developments in the treasury space (e.g., LCR, NSFR).
• Experience with regulatory documentation and responses (e.g., ILAAP, ICAAP).
