Full Job Description

Ealing Council are looking to hire an experienced environmental enforcement officer to join the Street Services Team in Ealing. This is an exciting opportunity to help combat fly-tipping, littering, and other environmental crime issues in the borough. The post holder will be based at Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, W5 2HL. Site visits will be required as part of the officer's day-to-day, but we also offer some flexibility in working from home.

You will have a working knowledge and understanding of issues related to environmental crime in the local community. You will have proven experience in an enforcement role and be an excellent communicator and problem solver. This role is not part of the Safer Communities team and will not involve the enforcement of drug crime, knife crime or similar anti-social behaviour.

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken and written English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016. However, a command of other languages commonly spoken in the borough will be an asset.

Ealing Council is committed to creating good jobs and delivering on its connected communities' agenda. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive.
